| Welcome to the 2011 Bristol Homecoming! Our Homecoming Festival is believed to be the oldest town festival in the state of Indiana starting in 1883 as the “Bristol Harvest Fest”. In the 1880’s it was also known as the “Harvest Home” and the “Harvest Jubilee” since it was held in the Fall. In 1910 we have the first pictures of the “Melon Festival”. At an unrecorded time it became the “Bristol Homecoming” which has turned into a 3 day event. Check back here for frequent updates as the schedule of events is updated. |
